I photoshopped this image by changing the style of it in filter, i tryed to give it a cartoony effect i also added my game charactor into it.

 My photo manipulated to have the dogs tail hanging out. I had this idea from the very beggining, i really like this image i manipulated. I think its really cute & know that kids would to.

Pablo Picasso line drawings.

I chose Pablo Picasso's line drawing's because they are really cool. I think he is good because not everything is in perspective, the picture below has extremely big hands & other part on his face that isn't right but somehow it works.

Ive always looked at Picasso's work & liked it since i was a little girl. Something about it just grabs my attention. Perhaps its because it is out of the ordinary or because its weird but i love it.

  I love this image above! I love how it doesn't have very much detail but at the same time its amazing! Probably one of my favourite line drawings done by Picasso.

 I also really like this image, it passes on a message of being relaxed & safe. Like i have said before his work is not always perfect (like the fingers on this painting) but it still makes you look at it & think thats what makes his work amazing. It also passes on a message saying that your drawing doesn't have to be perfect just as long as you try your best.

When i first saw this image i thought it was really weird, but after looking at it i think it is pretty cool. I love the way you can see what the image is even though it doesn't look right, the body's are almost like they are attached together, maybe he was trying to express the feeling of love & sexuality in the drawing i don't know but its amazing like all of his weird and wonderful pictures are.

Some basic line drawings i have been doing, they didnt take me to long but i think they are pretty good. My favourite one is either the one of the dog or the lion as i think that less is more. Without all of the detail i think they are good.

Some drawings i have done on my graphics tablet.

Here are some drawings i have done using a graphics tablet, i drew them using photoshop CS3. The first image was the first image i drew in photoshop & the first image i drew using a graphics tablet. I did the shading by using different shades from the same colour darker and lighter and dragging the flow down to about 20%. It was the same for both images. I got the simple outline of the picture then added all of the detail in myself, i used an array of different brushes for these images but mainly the soft & hard brushes to get the full effect of the pictures.

 

Character design

I have just doodled some basic character designs. Here is a basic character design i am not sure whether i am going to use this because it is not attractive to children due to the fact that children usually like bright objects and characters. And also this is a bit boring but its something that i have seen in some children's cartoons.

Description of what i want my character to look like.
I want my character to be colourful, it is a boy. I wanted him to be simple & not to detailed just a simple cartoon like i have achieved above. I think children will like him because of his big eyes, cute face & colorful clothes. He is what i hoped he would look like even though he took me 5 minute to sketch & color. I also think the quick sketch of the stick-man wouldn't have been suitable for the game anyway due to the face he is plain & boring and he wouldn't interest children.

 Here is my dog i designed for the game. I wanted her to be a bright color and to have a bright color on. I also wanted her to be cute & to be what young children would like which i think she is.

Pictures for my game

 The game i was thinking about doing a game about a lost dog. He gets lost while out on a walk with his owner and has to find his way home, along the way he will pick up clues and tokens which will help him find his way home. There are also minigames that you play along the way to get a way to go if you lose the minigames you lose tokens.

Why i took these pictures

I 

I took this picture beacuse i liked the look of the trees, it gives a scary kind of look but not to scary. One of my game ideas was to have a lost dog and trying to get it to find its way home. So this picture would be where the dog would find some clues on how to get home. I think this picture will be good for a minigame like a maze or something.

I took this picture to be at the beggining of the game. You see the dog running off into the distance and then thats when the game begins, you will see the shape of the the boy and then thats when the game starts.

 I took this picture because i think that its a good place to hide clues in the game. The idea i was thinking is that putting a few different objects into the tree & you have to find the right clue.

 I took this image because i thought it would be a good place to put little clues & even tokens into it.

I really like this image because of the one bluebell that is in the photo, i am going to use the bluebells as lives for when the character is getting tired.

I really like this image becasue to me it looks like a secret passageway for the game. Almost like a magical one.

I really like this image because i knew what i was going to do with it when i took it, what i want to do with this image is to manipulate a tail into it undernewith the tree as some kind of minigame or clue.

I took this image becasue i like the swampy look of it. I especially like the tree thats in the middle! I was thinking about using the tree as a clue spot with different pieces of hair in it & collectibles. What i also wanted to do was do paths of stepping stones which lead to other areas to.

 I thought this image was really nice of the stream & the little water fall. I want this to be in the game so that maybe they have to find a way to get across.

This is one of my favourite images that i took. I love the bluebells i think they are really pretty. What i was thinking about for this image is where he finds alot of lives & maybe a few clues.

I took this image because i wanted to have something engraved on the side of the tree or the dogs claw marks.

 I really like this shot because i love the fact it has the wooden path in it. I also love the way the log/stick is in the picture to that will be good to use as a clue.
